| The range of versatile griphoist lifting and pulling machines are safe, reliable and efficient. |
|
| The operating principle may be described as 'hand over hand'. While one set of gripper jaws pull, the other changes position in order to pull in its turn. |
- The griphoist can be a hoist, winch, tensioner, binder, ratchet and more.
- It is portable and has remarkable strength to weight ratio.
- It provides unlimited pulling length or lifting height, and pinpoint accuracy in positioning loads.
- Built to high safety factors and test certificates are provided for machine and rope.

| The lifting and pulling power of Griphoist machines can be greatly increased by the use of multiple sheave blocks. These can increase the nominal capacity of the griphoists machine by 2, 3 or 4 times or more. |
|
| For most applications, an allowance must be made for friction in the sheaves. Ensure that the capacity of the blocks and fittings and anchor points are suitable for the load. When using the Griphoist for pulling purposes it should be remembered that the necessary pulling effort is not equal to the weight of the load to be moved, but is proportional to the friction to be overcome. |
